I have a 100 Ton USCG Captain's License, Commercial 100 Ton Master License with Sail & Power Endorsement, STCW-95, TWIC, 200,000 miles, and 30 years experience. My primary areas are the Entire East and West Coast of the United States including Alaska, Caribbean, Mexico, Great Lakes, ICW, Gulf of Mexico, Panama Canal (12 transits), Central & South America. I also make Transatlantic and Pacific deliveries. I have a select group of experienced offshore sailors with experience in many areas of the world that I use for crew. Booking your trip in advance is preferred but I am used to short notice trips so give me a call. I can get my crew together very quickly.

I now provide a new service on all deliveries. I have a GPS which will send you updates on our position and progress. It will also let you know if we have any emergency or urgent need via e-mail. I also provide a Satellite Phone which gives me the ability to call from anywhere in the world. I carry a $5,000 policy with Sea Tow in the event of a mechanical breakdown or other issue as a courtesy to my customers.

Owners are always welcome to join me for all or part of the trip. If you have the time this can be a fun vacation for an adventurous owner. We can stop more often and do some fishing, sightseeing, etc. I can provide a cook, dive master, etc. I will provide instruction in navigation and boat handling. I will also work your shift with you until you become comfortable with being offshore.

Insurance companies typically require that you have someone on board with a USCG license and the necessary experience for offshore trips. That is where I come in, for a reasonable fee, I can move your boat to a new location or I can assist you. To obtain a free written estimate click Boat

Why should you use someone who charges by the day rather than by the job? I do not want to risk damage to your boat by carrying too much sail or being forced to sail in adverse weather. If the boat needs repairs or maintenance I stop and do it. I want to earn your repeat business.
